Settings and results
MP3 at 192 kbps is selected initially. A lower bitrate generally uses less space; a higher setting does not restore detail already lost in the M4A source. Listen before replacing your original.
File storage and deletion
Files are uploaded and processed on the server. Originals and results are stored privately and accessed through their account or browser session; downloads use short-lived links. By default, files expire 24 hours after upload and are removed by the cleanup process. You can delete them earlier in your workspace. The current local default allowance is 20 uploaded files per 24 hours.

Will converting MP3 to FLAC improve the sound?
No. Lossless output does not recover information already lost in the source. Choose it for editing or compatibility, not as an audio restoration method.
