How to use this tool

Settings and results

MP4 with H.264 is the default. WebM uses VP9. Conversion processes the main video and default audio track; extra tracks, subtitles and attachments are not copied. SDR only; HDR is rejected.

File storage and deletion

Files are uploaded and processed on the server. Originals and results are stored privately and accessed through their account or browser session; downloads use short-lived links. By default, files expire 24 hours after upload and are removed by the cleanup process. You can delete them earlier in your workspace. The current local default allowance is 20 uploaded files per 24 hours.

Common questions

Will iPhone HDR video work?

This converter currently supports SDR only and rejects HDR. It does not perform HDR-to-SDR tone mapping. Check your source before starting.
