- Output
- MP4 (H.264 / H.265)
One video at a time, up to 1 GiB. A target that is too small for the duration can be rejected. Final size can vary slightly.
How to use this tool
- Choose a supported video and wait for its file details.
- Select quality or enter a target size in advanced compression, then start.
- Compare the original and result, then download the MP4 from your workspace.
Settings and results
Start with Balanced. Use H.264 for broad playback compatibility. A target size uses two-pass encoding; a lower resolution can help when the bitrate budget is small. H.265 needs a compatible player.
File storage and deletion
Files are uploaded and processed on the server. Originals and results are stored privately and accessed through their account or browser session; downloads use short-lived links. By default, files expire 24 hours after upload and are removed by the cleanup process. You can delete them earlier in your workspace. The current local default allowance is 20 uploaded files per 24 hours.

Will compression keep exactly the same quality?
Re-encoding is lossy. Smaller targets can remove visible detail, especially in fast motion. Compare a representative clip before processing an important video.
Can I close the page?
After upload and task submission finish, processing continues on the server. Return in the same browser or account to download before expiry.
